Open Letter To Troy Township Residents
As your Township Trustee's we would like to pass some information along to our residents who have AEP as their electric company. Many of you have taken part in the electric aggregation plan offered by Troy Township and administered by Trebel Electric. The electric aggregation program is to lock in costs for electric generation, the current aggregation program is locked in at its current price for another 2 years.
The Trustee's have been made aware that starting June 1, 2026 AEP is increasing their electric transmission cost approximately 20%, which is separate from the aggregation program/electric generation.

The Troy Township Zoning Commission will meet on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Troy Township Hall, 4293 US Highway 23 North, Delaware, Ohio 43015 for the following purpose:
Amend Troy Township Zoning Resolution with the following changes:
Article VIII: Section 8.05(G) - G) Rear Yard Requirements - No principal dwelling shall be located closer than fifty (50) feet to the rear line of any lot and no accessory building, deck, patio or other subordinate structure shall be located closer than twenty five (25) feet to said rear lot line.
Amend Troy Township Zoning Resolution:
Article XV: Section 15.05(A)(2) As approved on the final development plan.
The regular Zoning Commission meeting will commence immediately thereafter.
The public is welcome to attend the meetings.
