Troy Township is mainly a single-family residential, rural area. With the northern expansion of Delaware City, the southern portion of the Township may encounter suburban growth pressures in the future. The Olentangy River and Delaware Lake are two significant features in the township recommended for conservation through lower densities and encouragement of conservation subdivision design. The US 23 corridor is to be the commercial base of the township, with access management and architectural guidelines strongly emphasized.

ATTENTION
The City of Delaware will be closing Troy Road August 3rd through October 1st for the installation of a roundabout at Merrick Blvd. Due to unforeseen weather and utility delays this closing may coincide with installation of the right hand turn lane and the middle turn lane on Hills Miller Road as Hills Miller Road is part of the detour route. We apologize for the inconvenience this will cause but these are factors beyond our control.
